Awake & Alkalize Smoothie, Iron Rich

You will need of course, a blender.

Ingredients

2-4 handfuls of kale, 

1-2 handfuls dandelion

1-2 handfuls spinach

1 stalk celery

1/2 cucumber or 1 lemon cucumber

1/2 cup frozen raspberries or blackberries

1 handful basil

1 small bunch parsly

1 small bunch mint leaves

1 small bunch cilantro

2 Tablespoons sprouted pumpkin seeds

2 Tablespoons sprouted sunflower seeds

2 Tablespoons sprouted cashews nuts

1 Tablespoon hemp hearts, chia or flax

1-2 cups filtered water

Directions

Place all ingredients, rinsing as needed, in a blender.

Combine 1-2 cups water for desired consistency.

Blend, and enjoy.

To go, pour into a quart jar or two pint jars

Notes

I recommend the full quart Awake & Alkalize smoothie in your morning as a meal replacement, followed by your biggest meal of the day at lunch.

Always chew your food well.

Be sure to savor your smoothie and swish it around your mouth as though you are chewing it.  This helps to mix your digestive juices and so digestion begins properly in the mouth.
