One hour
A favorite among our family home even our guests love this simple delight for children and adults alike.
You will need a freezer and wooden popsicle sticks.
raw
A dozen or so
One round watermelon, size of your choice
Slice your watermelon into triangles
Cut the rind off
Insert your wooden popsicle sticks into the watermelon
Lay the watermelon slices on a flat stainless steel baking tray
Place in the freezer until frozen, perhaps an hour or so.
Once the watermelon pops are frozen you can transfer them to freezer bags to free up your tray for making more.
Great to keep a regular supply of these on hand, especially when watermelon and fruit in general is in season during the summer.
